About Amanda

Amanda Tharin is a proud and dedicated member of the RE/MAX Purpose Driven team, bringing over 35 years of deep-rooted knowledge of the Lexington community. Born and raised in Lexington, Amanda attended the University of South Carolina, where she majored in retail management with a minor in Dance, and remains a loyal Gamecock. After graduation, Amanda owned and operated a retail business in Lexington before transitioning into a legal career as a paralegal in Columbia. She later served in Family Court for the state, which deepened her passion for helping others.

Amanda’s diverse background in sales and law makes her exceptionally suited for a career in real estate, where she is committed to helping families find their perfect home in the community she holds dear. She and her husband, Jason, are raising their two children, Amelia and Maxwell, in the same neighborhood where she grew up. Amelia is a member of the Women’s Golf Team at River Bluff, while Maxwell plays travel baseball with Victus Elite. The family, including their French bulldog, Brody, lives in Amanda’s childhood home.

Amanda & her family are also members of Mt. Horeb United Methodist Church and she has been involved with Ann Brodie’s Carolina Ballet, where she has volunteered on the artistic staff and performed in the Nutcracker several times. She is passionate about giving back through RE/MAX’s philanthropic efforts for the Children’s Miracle Network, contributing a portion of her sales to create "Miracle Homes."
